Within the framework of the international Risc_Plus project, APA is launching a public tender for the installation and rehabilitation of hydrometeorological stations in the Hydrographic Region of Minho and Lima (RH1).
Taking into account the current economic situation and the price variations that have occurred in the recent past, APA previously carried out a preliminary market consultation to calibrate the values associated with this investment. This initiative aims to increase the number of automatic sensors in the territory to respond to the growing need for data, information and knowledge to respond adequately to the challenge of climate change. The foreseen investment will be around 70 thousand euros.
In total, this action involves 7 pieces of equipment. The installation of 2 complete hydrometric stations, 2 complete meteorological stations and the rehabilitation/modernisation of the communication protocols of 3 meteorological stations.
The RISC_PLUS project aims to design joint measures between Portugal and Spain to prevent, prepare for, protect against, anticipate and better manage extreme phenomena such as floods and droughts and accidental pollution, as well as to assess and combat the effects of climate change in the international stretch of the Miño and Lima river basins.
